The AMEA Information Technologies Institute is implementing activities towards forming the electronic science, which is one of the segments of the information community and e-government.
The institute has the Azerbaijan National Academy’s Data Center and the National Super Computer Center, in which all scientific information will be accumulated. This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by Ramiz Aliguliyev, the director of the AMEA Information Technologies Institute.
According to him, the institute continues to expand relations with international organizations. ‘By supplementing this source with scientific journals we want to present our competitive knowledge to the world market. We have relations with 33 counties of the world.
Azerbaijan is already introducing to the World ICT market its ‘hardware’, ‘software’ and ‘brainware’ products. Azerbaijan is holding the leading place among the South Caucasian countries in the field of computer sciences, and AMEA is currently rendering its services in this republic.
