Such persons will be either prohibited from holding certain positions and have to pay 1,000 – 2,000 manat fine or they will be put in jail for 2 years.
Cyber-criminals to be put in prison for two years in Azerbaijan
Persons engaged in cyber-crime activities will be persecuted in Azerbaijan. According to information released by the Milli Machlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, some changes have been introduced to the Criminal Code in this regard.Under these changes, the person who will access the computer system in order to illegally obtain information will have to bare criminal responsibility for violating the law.
