A new social network for Azerbaijani students was created after a contract had been signed between one of the largest education recourse in Turkey "Mezun.com" and Azerbaijan’s education portal "Telebe.az". According to information released by Telebe.az, students will use the network to obtain information on foreign universities, education news and other useful information.
Users of the network will be able to get in touch directly with Azerbaijanis studying abroad in order to receive information about education in foreign countries. Let’s note that the network was initially activated for education in Turkey. However, the network is expected to cover other countries in near future. To connect to the network students will either have to pass trough registration process directory at its website or use their Facebook accounts.
Users will be able to create their profiles on the website and share information, photo and video files. The network can be accessed through the link http://telebe.az.mezun.com. 70% of the website has already been translated into Azerbaijani language.
Work on upgrading the website is continuing. It should be noted that the young people who study abroad will be paid one-time grant of $300 via the website. Let’s note that Mezun Group which operates since 1999 is developing useful products for people. Mezun Group has its representatives in Europe, South America and Turkey. "Telebe.az" web-site operates since 2008.
