Minister: Internet tariffs in Azerbaijan to reduce
Over the past six months, the cost of leasing lines from the primary internet service provider of Azerbaijan, Delta Telecom, fell by two times, which makes it possible to further reduce the cost of Internet services to final users, the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said on Saturday. He said today Azerbaijan has a second global provider - Azertelecom, carrying out the delivery of traffic into the country. Now competition has appeared in this sphere, which will further reduce the cost and improve the quality of Internet services. The direct role in the expansion of broadband connections is played by adoption of a development strategy of broadband Internet, preparation of which is being completed, he said.Views: 930
