Virtual social network is one of the novelties brought about by rapid development of technologies. Social networks comprised of provision, distribution, and discussion of information as well as other elements offered by modern technologies have become especially popular among the majority of internet users.
Continuous increase in the number of social network users is a striking example of expanding of internet freedom and introduction of ICT Technologies in our Republic.
Assessment by the World Economic Forum shows that Azerbaijan holds 44 place among 138 states in social networks users rating. According to preliminary estimations based on results of 2010 year, 3.0% of the population use “Facebook” social network, and this means that 16.5 of every internet user use this social service.
