The information security while rendering new electronic services, preparation of proposals for the introduction of technologies and trans-boundary information exchange related to the control over import and export of IT-products containing cryptographic functions and information security means in the CIS member-states were considered within the meeting of the RCC Commission on Information Security.
The ministry said that establishing a single center on security in cyberspace of the CIS member-states within RCC may be ineffective because of the international level protection mechanism. "Azerbaijan, as well as other RCC member-states prefer cooperating with international organizations within the international conventions and examine the best practices to combat cybercrime," the source said.
Communications Administration of Azerbaijan to establish single cyberspace security center
The Azerbaijani Communications Administration has considered establishing a single cyberspace security center among Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) member-states, the Ministry of Communications and IT informed.
