As part of these measures, MCIT signed a contract with the Romanian “CertSIGN S.A.” company, under which CertSIGN S.A will start rendering consulting services on application of the Information Security Management System in MCIT’s Data-Calculating Centre, according to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 (AZS-494-2010) standards. Under the contract, CertSIGN S.A. will check the Data-Computing Center’s compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2005 (AZS-494-2010) standards, conduct analysis of information security risks and gaps, provide consultations on installation of the Information Security Management System and trainings for preparation of employees of the Data-Computing Center (DCC) for the certification audit. As part of the contract, the Romanian delegation visiting Azerbaijan, organized a training for DDC’s specialists.
During the training, a presentation of Public Key Infrastructures laboratory, which was established in DDC last year, was held. DDC’s specialists are expected to hold training courses for employees of other state and private organizations in order to enlighten them in regard to electronic signature, security of e-signature, basics of cryptography, key infrastructure, etc. Head of the Romanian delegation Adrian Florea said that CertSIGN S.A., alonside with technical support provides DDC with consulting services.
“Now, we, together with DDC, are working on a new project. More detailed information on the new project, which is aimed at facilitating information security by means of mobile telephones, will be released soon,” A. Florea said.
