According to information released by ICTnews.az, during the presentation the deputy head of the Coastal Boulevard Office Nazim Machidov said that “internet users has been given a chance to get a closer look at Baku Boulevard.
“They can take part in these virtual tours, which have been shot from 300 different spots in the boulevard during daytime and nighttime hours. All shootings at the boulevard were carried out by “baku3d.az” website. Internet users can watch the virtual tours through “bakubulvar.gov.az” and “baku3d.az” websites.”
The administrator of “baku3d.az” website Khosrov Hasanbayov also spoke at the activity. He said that the virtual tours of Baku Boulevard would attract more tourists to Azerbaijan. “The tours were filmed in HD quality. 21,000 manat were spent on the shootings. “baku3d.az” website was created with the aim of presentation of parks, museums, mosques, historical monuments, cultural centers, hotels, restaurants, beauty salons, auto shows, railway stations, car service centers, sports complexes, clinics, trade and entertainment centers, which are located in Baku city, in 3D format. Therefore, the website was designed as a catalog. With the help of the website, internet users will be able to watch 3D panorama of parks, museums, mosques, historical monuments, cultural centers, hotels and the other mentioned places through “Google” or “Gomap” virtual maps. In addition to that, a helicopter will be used for shooting some more virtual tours of Baku Boulevard.”
