The webpage is aimed at enlightening the citizens of the Republic on various activities and projects implemented towards creating the Electronic Government in Azerbaijan, informing the population of the country about introduction to the "e-Government" portal of electronic services rendered by different governmental agencies, analyzing and discussing various activities and measures implemented towards building the information society in the country and providing the citizens of the Republic with high-quality electronic services.
Over short period of time after the webpage had been created on Facebook, the number of its users surpassed 11,000 people. Facebook users are now actively participating in discussions of various reports presented on the webpage.
While using electronic services rendered via the "e-Government" portal, Facebook users visit the www.facebook.com/egov.az webpage to provide or share their opinions and ideas regarding the creation of the country’s electronic future, building of the information society, etc. The target is to increase the number of webpage users beyond one million people and insure their active participation in various e-Government – related activities.
Official Facebook page of ‘e-Government’ portal’ expands its activity
