According to the NetIndex rating of Ookla, the average speed of incoming traffic in Azerbaijan equals to 4.24 Мb/s. Last month this figure was 4.10 Mb/s. In Baku this indicator is 4.65 Мb/s, in Sumgayit - 2,.4 Мb/s. These results were received on the basis of the analysis of test data on 348287 unique IP-addresses, which was conducted from 01 June to 31 June 2013.
According to the analysis, Azerbaijan went up one point and now takes the 120-th place in the ranking of incoming traffic. The top 3 places are occupied by Hong Kong (48.92 Mbits / sec), Lithuania (37.55 Mbits / sec) and Taiwan (36.78 Mbits / sec). Average speed of outgoing Internet traffic makes 1.77 Mbits / sec.
According to analyses, Azerbaijan went up 5 points and took the 117-th place in the ranking of outgoing traffic. This figure makes 2.03 Mbits / sec for Baku and 0,56 Mbits / sec for Sumgait city. The top 3 places in this rating are occupied by Andorra (32.22 Mbits / sec), Hong Kong (31. 81 Mbits / sec) and Lithuania (30.05 Mbits / sec).
