Baidu, BMW to cooperate on in-car search
Chinese online search provider Baidu Inc. said Monday it and German luxury-car maker BMW AG have signed a pact to cooperate on the development and operation of search services in cars. Baidu is also talking to other car makers about similar possible cooperation, it said in a statement, without elaborating. The move comes as Baidu aims to further expand its services beyond personal computer-based Internet search. Baidu also recently reached a deal with a Chinese company to provide television-based search services, the statement said.Views: 1005
