The commission set up to study the poet’s heritage has received nearly 100 proposals in this regard. Of them, 40 have been included into the action plan.A Nizami scholarship is expected to be instituted and coin money, badges, various historical and decorative items reflecting his image as well as booklets telling about Nizami are planned to be issued.
Website about renowned poet Nizami Ganjavi under construction
A new website is under construction to popularize heritage of the renowned Azerbaijani poet across the world. The remarks came from Samir Pishnamazzade, deputy director for scientific affairs at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Ganja Scientific Center.The website will contain all works by Nizami and works of the genius poet in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German and French translations.
