Ericsson and Telstra successfully demonstrated Ciena's new WaveLogic Encryption solution at 200 Gbps speed on the Inter-capital Melbourne-Canberra-Sydney route.
For the first time, the trial with Telstra, Ericsson and Ciena demonstrated the capabilities of this in-flight coherent optical encryption solution for high-capacity infrastructure environments.
The system effectively provides business with the assurance that data is secure and protected as it leaves the private cloud and traverses across networks.
