Innovation from Azerpost

The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) has launched a new mobile application that makes it easy for people to search for addresses of post offices. The mobile application named "Addresses of post offices" was developed by the Data Processing Center of MCHT and has already been activated for mobile devices running on "iOS" and "Android" operating systems.
   
The application makes it possible for users to find information on addresses of more than 1600 post offices of Azerpost LLC on the map within a few seconds.

The mobile application has wide functional capabilities. A user can easily locate any post office by using the following functions of the application:       

- "Copy the text" option helps to store the obtained data;  
- "Call" option allows a user to make a phone call to the selected post office;
- "Show the route" option.  Using this option, a user will be able to see all transport routes leading the selected post office;    
- By using "Show" option on "Google Maps", a user will be able to find out information about the distance to the selected post office, means of transportation to cover this distance (personal transport, public transport and pedestrian route) and time he will have to spend on road using these means of transportation.     

The application uses the map of the "Google Maps" service. Therefore, a user should switch on the GPS navigation system before starting it.

The "Addresses of post offices" mobile application is available free of charge at both "App Store" and "Play Store" digital distribution platforms.
