The second new feature in the latest build of Windows 10 Mobile for participants of the program Windows Insider is the ability to encrypt storage cards. Primarily this function is designed for corporate clients.
“With the release build 15007, we are pleased to announce that corporate-owned devices running Windows 10 Mobile now have the option to encrypt the SD card inserted into the phone when the encryption device is enabled”, – stated in the description of the new functions.
To activate device encryption, see “Upgrading and Security”. There’s also available the option to encrypt the memory card, installed inside the smartphone.
