Today, as a result of the widespread introduction and rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICT), the Internet has an influence on all spheres of human activity.
However, despite playing the role of a vast information resource, the Internet cannot always be considered a useful source of information.
Harmful information is considered inevitable in a virtual environment.
Given this, in order to protect subscribers from internet threats, Bakinternet will launch a filtering service offering a wide range of possibilities.
This service will help to assess the level of threat posed by information stream to children and teenagers - active Internet users - in the education process and young people in research activities and to determine the useful side of the network.
The service will also allow parents to control the websites that contain games, movies and other content, promote violence, racism, extremism and aggressiveness, and able to cause serious psychological damage to children.
As a result of the implementation of the project “Safe Internet”, it will become possible to protect both children and adults from unwanted content, video advertising, viral and phishing sites.
More information about the project will be provided to the public in the coming days.
