According to information provided by the anti-virus company Doctor Web, a new multifunctional Trojan called Trojan.DownLoader23.60762 that steals logins and passwords from popular browsers and downloads dangerous files has been discovered.
The virus infecting Windows computers installs other applications on the device. It also steals account data from various services and intercepts data while it is being entered to pages of various websites.
To steal confidential information, Trojan.DownLoader23.60762 embeds itself in the Windows Explorer process, as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome processes, dailycomm.ru reports.
