Aztelecom LLC has launched a SAF service (secure internet service) for the subscribers of the internet provider "Aztelecom" in order to protect them from internet threats such as viruses, undesirable content and harmful information promoting violence.
This content filtering service will protect people, particularly children, from the influence of inappropriate sites by limiting their access to web pages containing adult content, as well as content promoting gambling, profanity, crime and violence.
The service is not limited to ensuring the safety of children and the younger generation from the negative impact of the global network, but also provides security against viruses, phishing, and etc. Users are given access only to trusted internet sites, which have been filtered and hold only useful information.
Legal persons can also use the "SAF" service to increase the efficiency of their work.
Rules for using the service are quite simple.
The user may at any time activate and deactivate the filtering of internet content. In addition, there is also possibility to create "white" and "black" lists and include appropriate content in them, which also allows users to restrict access to unwanted information.
Note that subscribers were already able to use this service in test mode in 9 regions of Azerbaijan - Absheron, Imishli, Naftalan, Goychay, Shirvan, Lankaran, Gabala, Oghuz and Hajigabul.
