The Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) is a multi-stakeholder initiative to measure the commitment of countries to cybersecurity. Cybersecurity has a wide field of application that cuts across many industries and sectors. Each country’s level of development is therefore analyzed within five categories: Legal Measures, Technical Measures, Organizational Measures, Capacity Building and Cooperation.
Azerbaijan entered TOP-50 in the Global Cyber Security Index
The International Telecommunication Union has announced the Global Cyber Security Index (GCSI) for 2017. Azerbaijan ranks 48th in GCSI with 0.559 points. Azerbaijan occupies 4th place among CIS countries leaving behind Ukraine (59th place), Moldova (73), Kazakhstan (83), Tajikistan (91), Uzbekistan (93), Kyrgyzstan (97), Armenia (111) and Turkmenistan (132).
