Work is underway by Aztelecom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies to improve the telecommunication infrastructure in regions and to meet local residents’ demand for services in accordance with the "Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Telecommunication and Information Technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan".
Thus, Aztelecom is implementing modern technologies at electronic automatic exchanges in cities and villages to expand the coverage area of broadband internet services and to broaden the range of multimedia services.
As a result of improving the quality of services provided to the population, the number of internet users and telephone subscribers has increased significantly.
Thus, the number of subscribers of Aztelekom.net of Aztelecom LLC has already reached 250,000.
Rubabe Abdullayeva, a resident of Sheki, has become the 250,000th user of Aztelekom.net.
On this occasion, Aztelecom presented her a laptop and free internet access certificate for six months.
It should be noted that this year, modern equipment has been installed in the service area of Aztelecom LLC, and the coverage of broadband internet services has been expanded in accordance with the Multimedia Services Expansion Project.
As a result of these measures, the number of subscribers of Aztelekom.net has increased by 25%.
