The event will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UNDP Azerbaijan and ADA University within the framework of the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference - Bakutel 2017.
The forum will be held under the slogan “The Internet is the Key to Innovation and Progress”.
The purpose of the event is to stimulate the development of innovative, competitive economy, to contribute to the increase of Azerbaijan’s potential for e-Participation and Open Government, as well as to foster joint cooperation and exchange of experience between national ICT participants and international specialists.
The forum will be attended by government representatives, representatives of academic and business circles and the members of civil society from different countries across the world.
The participants of the forum will discuss topical issues and prospects related to the Internet.
Those who wish to participate in the 5th Regional Internet Governance Forum (RIFAZ 2017) must register on the website http://www.rigf.az, which was updated this year in accordance with technical standards.
V Regional Internet Governance Forum to take place within Bakutel 2017
