According to Netcraft, one productive phishing attack occurs on every 537 websites in the .az domain. This is done to get money or personal information under one pretext or another.
The analysis is based on the Netcraft Toolbar program, which is a module for browsers Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The program warns about potentially harmful online resources, as well as the fact that phishing attacks are prevented.
Netcraft Toolbar installed on 4,302 PCs in Azerbaijan. Phishing attack is carried out through mass e-mails on behalf of popular brands.
Phishing incidents on Azerbaijani Internet segment fall
