In the Android runtime component, one vulnerability (CVE-2017-13274) was fixed, which allows an attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system.
One vulnerability (CVE-2017-13275) in the framework was also fixed, allowing malicious applications to bypass the operating system's security solutions that isolate application data from each other.
Most of vulnerabilities were fixed in various components of Qualcomm. In total, 289 vulnerabilities of varying severity were fixed, Securitylab.ru reported.
Google fixes over 300 vulnerabilities in Android OS
Google released an update for the Android operating system, fixing a total of 312 vulnerabilities, of which 9 are critical and allow an attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code.
