'The licensing of internet TV and determination of this activity’s standards are not only discussed in Azerbaijan, but the various countries of world.
Frankly speaking, we don’t hurry on this issue', Chief of Socio-Political Department of Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov told.
He said that they were waiting for steps, which will be taken on the internet TV by Council of Europe countries: “The European countries which have internet TV experience as well as many internet TVs had launched discussions before us. Azerbaijani delegations also participate in such discussions held in these and other countries. Let’s wait for a result.
Anyway, it is a type of activity and could gather enough spectators. That’s why the determination of basic principles and norms of this activity as well as the determination of this activity’s place in a row with the other Mass Medias attains transnational essence”.
Minister of Communications and IT Ali Abbasov said that the internet TV can be licensed in Azerbaijan.
