The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has recorded that the Armenian side is sending fake messages on behalf of Azerbaijan Banks Association in order to commit provocation. The fake messages sent to citizens via Telegram, WhatsApp and other channels say that Azerbaijani banks were allegedly subjected to cyber attacks and the accounts of bank customers will be temporarily frozen until the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies conducts investigation.
The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies informs citizens that this information does not correspond to reality and is provocative. We ask citizens to trust only the information provided by official sources.
The information posted on the official website of Azerbaijan Banks Association and a fake message sent on its behalf are added.
