Warning: phishing attack threat

The Armenian side continues unsuccessful attempts to carry out phishing attacks via e-mails. This time, the phishing email sent to a user states that allegedly the Information Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared a special training for employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to protect against the growing cyber attacks in recent years. At the same time, to participate in the training, you need to click the link and enter your corporate e-mail address and password. When a user clicks on the link and provides data, this information falls into the hands of cybercriminals.

The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies urges everyone to be extremely careful, not to click on suspicious links or download any files, and also verify the accuracy of information from official sources.

If you encounter such a situation, please report it to the Electronic Security Service via the website www.cert.az  or e-mail reports@cert.az.
