The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan will participate in the conference and exhibition of mobile technologies GSMA Mobile World Congress-2012, to be held in Barcelona from February 27 to March 1.
The Ministry's staff head Vidadi Zeynalov will represent the ministry at the event. Azerbaijan will be represented by all three GSM operators (Azercell, Bakcell and Azerfon) and Huawei Azerbaijan as well.
The largest exhibition GSMA Mobile World Congress, organized by the World GSM Association within the congress for several years, is the most dramatic and significant event in the world of mobile communication. Leading representatives of the industry - mobile operators, manufacturers of mobile devices and multiservice providers gather here.
Representatives of top management companies, holding leading positions in the wireless market, will hold a series of meetings and workshops these days.
They will discuss urgent themes of mobile communications, as well as prospects and future technologies.
Mobile innovations, entertainment, applications, open mobile systems, internet technologies will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2012.
More than 1,400 companies from 69 countries participated at the last year's exhibition. As much as 60,000 visitors-specialists from around the world were registered, more than half of which are leaders.
The conference programme is a central element to the Mobile World Congress. In 2012, this unparalleled programme will celebrate the way that the mobile industry is redefining communication.
