The winner of the tender was awarded a contract, and works are underway at moment. All the expenses connected with these activities were covered by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the State Committee on Property Issues is executing the pilot project on the ‘registration of cadastre and real estate’ in Ganja city and Sheki region.
The Project is being implemented within the ‘Financial Cooperation Agreement’ made between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by head of the press service of the State Committee on Property Issues, Gulu Khalilov. According to him, State Committee on Property Issues will soon start the preparation of digital real estate cadastre maps for Ganja city and Sheki region based on the the results of the pilot project .
The Germany will provide loans and grants to cover all the expenses connected with these activities. The aim of the Project is to create an effective digital cadastre maps for more rational use of real estate objects and ground areas, as well as to insure transparency of the registration of real estate objects and ground areas.
During the first stage of the ‘Project on Registration of Cadastre and Real Estate’ the pilot areas were determined in Ganja city and Sheki region. Cadastre measuring works were carried out in these areas on the regular bases. By the end of the first stage of the project cadastre was formed for all types of real estate objects and ground areas located in these areas, and digital cadastre maps were created for the real estate objects.
Digital real estate cadaster maps to be prepared for Ganja city and Sheki region
Measures are being taken in Azerbaijan towards creation of the data base for real estate cadaster and preparation of digital cadaster maps.
