He added the Committee approved 77 standards in 2011. As many as 217 new types of measuring devices were approved last year.

Azerbaijan trading standards’ e-database expands
The State Committee on Standardisation, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan continues to work on the formation of an electronic database which includes standards, certification regulations and other normally used documents, chairman of the Committee Ramiz Hasanov said in an interview published on Wednesday.He added the Committee approved 77 standards in 2011.
