The PEYK plant considers the possibility of establishing a joint venture for setting up flash-drives production, the company reported. PEYK reached a preliminary agreement on the possibility of joint cooperation in the production process with a Taiwanese company.
Test systems are expected to be supplied to develop the production technology. "The licensed production of these products on the basis of an agreement with the vendor may be an option for producing establishment," the company said. The launch of the flash-drives production line is scheduled for 2012.
The plant has the necessary production capacity and technical capabilities to produce flash-drives. After the production is established, the devices will be supplied to the domestic market and for export.
