The event was organized in partnership with the Munich Network Management - a consortium of four German research institutes. The Forum is dedicated, first and foremost, to services, technologies and tools available to scientific communities to better support their research.
AzScienceNet scientific computer network pretends to become a full member of the European distributed network. The advantages of GRID-segment will be available through the Data Center of IIT, which acts as single centre of management and allocation of computing resources at institutions in the use of the Academy of Sciences.
Distributed network within the EGI project, consisting of 200,000 computers located in 33 countries, was launched in September 2010. The project uses the computing power of computers located in 300 DATA centers around the world.
Azerbaijan considers scientific network integration in EGI project
