The statement came from Director General of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry Alchin Shirinzade.
Shirinzade said the program covering the period by 2016 includes establishment of space industry facilities, production of some devices in the country, training of personnel etc.
“As far as I know the draft program has been approved by the government and awaits confirmation,” he said.
Director General of the National Aerospace Agency said there are proposals to launch sounding satellite into the low earth orbit, underlined that it can be realized in the coming years.
State program on development of space industry prepared in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry has prepared the state program on the development of space industry and presented it to the government for confirmation.The statement came from Director General of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry Alchin Shirinzade.
