As it is known the Intel® International Science and Engineering Fair® (Intel ISEF), the world's largest international pre-college science competition, provides an annual forum for more than 1,500 high school students from 65 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research as they compete for over $4 million annually. The Intel ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12.
The Intel ISEF 2012 will be attended by four senior pupils from Azerbaijan.Seven schoolchildren to act as observers, a finalist of the national competition from Azerbaijan and six winners of the CIS countries' pupils scientific work competition "Scientists of the future" will join them.
Intel ISEF finalists were determined based on nine national semi-finals, four of which were held in Russia, two in Ukraine, one in Azerbaijan, one in Belarus, and one in Kazakhstan.The national stage of Intel ISEF in Azerbaijan was held this year for the first time.
Competition 'Future scientists of Azerbaijan' was organised by the Education Ministry and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan with the support of the Intel Corporation. Some 77 schoolchildren made presentations in teams and individual work in seven sections as part of the competition.

Young scientists of Azerbaijan will present their scientific work at an international fair of scientific and technical creativity.
