Ministry of Education and Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.45 teams from 15 universities of the country participated at the first stage of the Olympiad, which took place at Gafgaz University on April 15, 2012.
According to the results of the first stage, 12 teams from 4 higher educational establishments acquired right to participate in the second (final) stage. In addition to that, taking into account the activity of regional teams current year, 9 teams were invited for the finals on out-of-competition basis.
The final stage of the Olympiad is planned to be held on April 29, 2012 at the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.
Teams, winning the first four places, will be awarded valuable gifts from companies Azerfon and BestComp Group.
Republican Olympiad on informatics among university students started
Republican Olympiad on Informatics among university students, dedicated to 17 May – World Telecommunication and Information Society Day started. The Olympiad is organzed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Heydar Aliyev Foundation,Ministry of Education and Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.45 teams from 15 universities of the country participated at the first stage of the Olympiad, which took place at Gafgaz University on April 15, 2012.
