From the Azerbaijani side the Commission will be co-chaired by the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, from the US side it will be co-chaired by the Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment Robert D. Hormats. This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by the Ministry of Finance.
The meeting will discuss a wide range of issues, including the development of the spheres of transportation, aviation, infrastructure, information and communication technologies, authors’ rights protection, exploration, production and transportation of energy resources, trade and investment, as well as initiatives on renewable energy.
It will also consider questions related the financial sector, including the development of the state investment strategy, strengthening of the cooperation in the fight against fraud, corruption, money laundering and terrorism financing, and other issues of mutual interest.
Azerbaijan and US to discuss ICT related issues
