Korean newspaper Maeil Business originally reported that the company was targeting its 3 May event in London as the launch date for the service.

The 3 May event is shaping up to be a major release point for Samsung if reports are to be believed. Early invites sent by the company suggest that the event will be centred on the company's Galaxy product line, leading to speculation that Samsung will choose London as the venue for the introduction of the Galaxy S3 handset.
The S3 is rumoured to be sporting an improved battery life as well as a new ceramics-based case design.
Samsung is not the only company linked to a possible storage service launch. Reports suggest that Google is in the final stages of preparation for the launch of its Drives platform. The service will reportedly aim to dethrone iCloud by offering users up to 5GB of storage free of charge.
