This information was presented to ‘ICTnews’ by the Press-Service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the information, head of the administration of the Ministry of Economic Development Samir Valiyev made a statement to the meeting.
In his statement S.Valiyev gave detailed information about social and economic achievements made in Azerbaijan. He put special emphasis on the widening of relations between Azerbaijan and Korea. In his speech S.Valiyev also drew participants’ attention to the existing huge potential for the further strengthening of these relations.
In his turn, general director of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea Taehee Voo said that his country attaches great importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan and is interested in the expanding of cooperation between the two countries.
He expressed confidence that from now on the existing relations will be developing in more intensive form. During the meeting representatives from various Korean public bodies made statements on a wide range of topics: head of department of the Industry Complex Corporation Hyeyoung Cho gave a report titled ‘Cooperation in the fields of Special Economic Zones and Industrial Parks’, general manager of the Trade Insurance Corporation Subuem Park delivered a report titled ‘Financing of export through the Export Credit Agency’, general manager of the ‘SK C&C’ company Seongpil Yang made a report titled ‘Development of the railway system’, head of department of the New and Renewable Energy Corporation Jungtae Pak delivered a report titled ‘Cooperation in the development of renewable energy’.
Working Group for economic cooperation between Korea and Azerbaijan holds meeting to discuss strengthening of cooperation in ICT sector
The Working Group for the economic cooperation between Korea and Azerbaijan has held its 4th meeting devoted to the Azerbaijan-Korea cooperation in various spheres of the economy. The meeting discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of information and communication technologies, industry, agriculture, construction, and etc. as well as the strengthening of relations between businessmen from the both countries.This information was presented to ‘ICTnews’ by the Press-Service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
