According to the renewed rules, the teachers, who want to take part in the ‘European Cooperation in Education Forum’ should send working plans of the education projects, which had been launched in Azerbaijan before June 30, 2012, to the Organizing Committee’s e-mail address innovativ@teacher.edu.az. The jury panel will examine these projects to select 50 best projects from them. At the next stage, which will last from September – November 2013, the Organizational Committee and the expert team will give their recommendations on the selected projects.
During the final stage in December 2013 30 best projects will be chosen from the initially selected 50 projects. The teachers, who will represent Azerbaijan in the European Forum, will be selected from the authors of these 30 projects. Within the forum an exhibition of the 30 best projects will be organized.
During the forum the competition finalists will make presentations in order to provide colleagues with detailed information on their projects. The international competition aims at improving the modern man’s capabilities for establishing communication, conducting analyzes, working with information technologies, realizing advanced ideas and etc.
The innovative projects must help pupils to acquire these capabilities in their schools. The presented innovative projects will provide school pupils with tools that are necessary for performing independent studies on various subjects.
During the selections of finalists special attention will be given to the projects created with use of information and communication technologies. Presentation of projects must also be made electronically with use of video-files, digital images, web-pages and etc. It should be noted that web-sites, internet-blogs, publications, materials from the Wikipedia and other tools can be used during the presentations.
International Competition titled ‘Cooperation in Education: Microsoft Forum 2013’ starts
The ‘Microsoft Azerbaijan’ company has began the selection process in Azerbaijan in connection with the ‘Cooperation in Education Forum 2013’ competition. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the ‘Madad Azerbaijan’ organization will provide their support for conducting the competition in Azerbaijan. This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by the ICT Information Center.
