According to information it allows all three players of the mobile market of Azerbaijan to start rendering services in the fourth generation (4G) standard.
"Last year, after 3G licenses have been issued to operators, the Ministry took a decision and announced about a need to take measures to deploy the 4G network. Thanks to this decision it was decided to allow all three operators to use appropriate frequency for the deployment of the LTE network," according to MCIT.
At present, the country has three operators of mobile services rendering services in the 3G standard - Azercell, Bakcell and Azerfon.
Azerbaijani GSM operators to deploy LTE network
All three GSM operators in Azerbaijan are permitted to use necessary frequencies for the deployment of the network LTE (Long Term Evolution), the regulation department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies reported.According to information it allows all three players of the mobile market of Azerbaijan to start rendering services in the fourth generation (4G) standard.
