The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on ‘Some Measures to Ensure the Security of Online Data Resources and e-Mail Addresses of State Bodies’.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers was entrusted with the preparation of requirements for the creation and management of online information resources of state bodies. Under the decree, these requirements must be prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers within a time frame of 2 months, and the Cabinet of Ministers must report on this matter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers, local and central authorities of Azerbaijan are commissioned, while the Milli Machlis , the Constitutional Court, the Accounts Chamber, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Supreme Court and Appeal Court recommended to place their e-mail addresses and online information resources in the Information & Resource Center for Public Authorities of Azerbaijan under the authority of the Special State Protection Service.
The Special State Protection Service is instructed to take all necessary measures to ensure security of e-mail addresses and online information resources in the Information and Resource Center for Public Authorities of Azerbaijan, as well as provide information on the done work to the President.
