During the meeting the director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, professor Rasim Aliguliyev gave a statement on the creation of the’ Application of Information Technologies in Archeology’ sector at the Archeology and Ethnography Institute of ANAS. In his statement he underlined the importance of creation of information technologies sectors in institutes of ANAS.
According to him, creation of such sectors facilitates the formation of the e-science’ in Azerbaijan. ‘Improvement of efficiency of administration and research activities carried out in scientific institutions, coordination of these activities, conducting these activities according to modern standards are among the key tasks standing before ANAS. The Institute of Information Technologies of AMEA is ready to cooperate with other AMEA’s scientific institutions on these issues,’ R. Aliguliyev said.
Creation of IT sectors in institutes of ANAS promotes formation of e-science
The Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS) has held its next meeting. This information was provided to ICTnews by ANAS.
