According to the ministry, during the presentation the head of the Business Development Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development Zaur Gasimov gave a statement on the activities implemented towards the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan. In his statement Z.Gasimov underlined the importance of cooperation with the International Financial Corporation for adopting advanced international experience in this field.
The ‘e-Services’ section was created on the official web-site of the Ministry of Economic Development in line with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s decree on ‘Some measures to be implemented in the sphere of the organization of e-services’, dated May 23, 2011. Electronic forms of licenses and certificates provided by the ministry for various types of activities, the list of documents required for rendering these services, electronic applications for obtaining licenses and certificates for various types of activities and other electronic documents have been placed on the ‘e-Services’ section of the web-site,’ said Z.Gasimov in his statement.
The head of the sector of Business Development Policy Department Zaur Nuruyev also made a statement at the presentation, in which he provided the participants of the event with information about electronic information portal (http://www.icazeler.gov.az/) for obtaining permissions. In his statement Z.Nuruyev stressed the importance of expanding businessmen’s capabilities for using e-services. The executive of the ‘Investment environment project’ of the International Financial Corporation Ilham Abdullayev provided the participants of the event with information about the single data registry (http://www.yoxlama.gov.az/) of inspections conducted in the sphere of entrepreneurship. Chavid Khalilov and Chavanshir Huseynov informed the participants in detail about the opportunities offered to owners of small and middle size businesses by the internet portal ‘http://www.biznesinfo.az/’.
An employee of the Centralized Credit Register of the Central Bank Osman Khaliyev and a representative of the Financial Infrastructure Improvement Project of the International Financial Corporation Teymur Heybatov made presentations on providing businessmen with wide opportunities to access financial mechanisms. The head of the Employers Organizations Department of the National Confederation Emil Suleymanov told the participants about the services rendered to businessmen by the Confederation.

The presentation titled ‘e-Services for businessmen’ has been held in Guba region.
