Producer price for computers and other electronic equipment goes up 2.1% in June

Producer prises for manufacuring computers and other electronic equipment grew up by 2.1 pesent in June 2012. This information was provided to ICTnews by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the Commettee, the index of producer prices for manufactured goods in Azerbaijan decreased by 11.4 percent in June compared to the previous month, State Statistics Committee said on Thursday.

Producer prices in the mining industry hit 86.4 percent compared to the previous month. Produser  prices  dropped by 13.7 percent in the sphere of oil and gas extraction. In June, the producer prices index in the processing industry reached 99,3 percent compared to May.

In particular, prices in paper and cardboard production decreased by nine per cent, chemical industry - 2.5 percent and production of oil products - 2.2 percent, rubber and plastic products - 0.2 percent, and production of electronic equipment - 0.2 percent.

Production of building materials increased in price by 4.4 per cent, computer and other electronic equipment - 2.1 per cent, food products - 0.6 per cent, furniture production and steel industry - by 0.5 per cent. Within a month, production of gas, electricity and steam, as well as its distribution and supply increased in price by 0.4 per cent.
