According to the committee, the implementation of the project on protection of industrial property objects is continuing successfully. “Azerbaijan is using South Korea’s experience in the realization of this project, because this country is holding the leading place in the world in this sphere.
“Upon completion of the project, the process of acceptance, examination and registration of applications made to acquire certificates and patents for trademarks, geographical indications, inventions, profitable models and industrial designs will be implemented electronically by the single automated system. A system of online payment of state duties and examination fees in real time regime will be also introduced in
Azerbaijan in the near future. Besides that, Azerbaijan intends to adapt Germany’s experience in introduction and using the “e-Patent” system. All the above-stated measures will facilities formation of e-Government in Azerbaijan and will bring benefit to all interested sides.
