The statement came from the chief of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's department for work with law-enforcement agencies, Fuad Alasgarov. According to the official, two presidential decrees on the establishment of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan Republic and ASAN service centres mentioned objectives and principles of ASAN service centres and instructed to improve public services and ensure transparency.
"Mr. President instructed to carry out services in these centres on the basis of efficiency, transparency, supervision, responsibility and comfort. In other words, while implementing its duty before the citizens, the state body must ensure their satisfaction," Alasgarov said. Referring to the opening of the first ASAN service centre by President Ilham Aliyev, the official said that this is the first ASAN service centre, and it will be launched on 15 January.
"Certain work has been done to apply modern innovations and provide public services at the ASAN centre higher quality and with a new style. Reception to the ASAN service centre will be held based on an electronic queue. Electronic boards and signs in the centre will make it easy to obtain information. The centre has been equipped with computers having permanent access to the Internet, and conditions were provided there for the use of every electronic service," said Alasgarov.
ASAN service centers to ensure public satisfaction and transparency
