The Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University was the first university in Azerbaijan to use computer technologies for examinations. One the the main advantages of using computer technologies for conducting examinations is that they allow to announce examination results and send examination results to dean's offices on the same day when examinations take place.
The university uses computer technologies to conduct state examinations as well. This information was provided to “ICTnews” online news service by the academic director of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University professor Malik Chabrailov.
According to him, after the introduction of this technology in 2005, the human factor was excluded from the examination process. “A test bank has now been created at the university, which includes 700 tests on each discipline. In addition to that students are provided with answers to test questions.”
