According to the results of last year, 182,422 units of mobile phones were imported to Azerbaijan, which amounted to 8680.5 thousand dollars, State Statistical Committee reported.
According to data provided by State Statistical Committee, the number of imported mobile phones in the country increased by 22.8 percent compared to 2011 (last year the figure was 148,480 units), and in value terms it fell by 0.6 percent.
On average, 13-15 thousand mobile phones were imported to the country every month. In terms of value, the monthly volume of the mobile phone market exceeds 720 thousand dollars.
