According to information provided to “ICTnews” online news service by Deputy Federal Minister of Transport Innovation and Technology of Austria Andreas Reinhar, the list of the representatives of the public sector, who will participate in the conference, will be prepared and submitted to the organizing committee within the next few days. The main objective of the conference is to discuss the best practices and the current trends of cooperation among government agencies in the field of e-Government, study as-is situation and share knowledge on the application of information and communication technologies and innovative management practices in customs and other spheres of economy.
The agenda of the conference includes the following topics: “Approaches to e-Government Project”, “Organization of e-services in public sector”, “ICT in customs and e-Customs Services”, “Role of ICT in Customs to Business Partnership.” The council of the conference consists of the following members: Professor Aydin Aliyev, chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Academician Telman Əliyev, director of the Institute of Cybernetics at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Professor Rasim Alguliyev, director of the Information Technologies Institute at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, associate member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Professor Bushuyev S.D, doctor of technical sciences, academician at the Ukraine Academy of Sciences, honored scientist of technology, owner of the State Prize of Ukraine in the sphere of science and technology; Professor Chetin Elmas, head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at the Faculty of Technology of the Gazi University of Turkey.
The working languages of the conference will be Azerbaijani, Russian, English, French and Spanish. The activity will be attended by public officials, customs officers, representatives of private companies and NGOs, business owners, representatives of academia involved in ICT and customs and ICT specialists.
