The company Friday said it would appeal a ruling by the Duesseldorf regional court that bans Samsung from distributing the product in Germany, while Samsung's German unit is barred from selling the device in the whole of the European Union.
The ban followed a dispute with Apple Inc., which claims that Samsung had copied its products.

The Duesseldorf higher regional court Tuesday said Samsung Electronics Co.
