The list of public security - related activities includes 4 types of activities - Private security activities; Design and production of data protection facilities; Development of biometric technologies and provision of services with the use of biometric technologies; Formation of personal data resources and creation of information systems.
Licenses for the development of biometric technologies and provision of services with the use of biometric technologies and the formation of personal data resources and creation of information systems are issued by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.
1100 manat state fee must be paid to obtain a license for conducting either of the two activities.

The list of public security - related activities and the amounts of state fees for obtaining licenses for conducting public security - related activities were approved by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's decree of December 21, 2015.The list of public security - related activities includes 4 types of activities - Private security activities; Design and production of data protection facilities; Development of biometric technologies and provision of services with the use of biometric technologies; Formation of personal data resources and creation of information systems.
